Misread by Kings Of Convenience (live acoustic version)
Tabbed by Simon Bance 2004/2005
Dear friends,
This one has taken a long time because I was constantly hoping that I could do it even better.
Anyway, as I write this it is 00:32 on Friday 4th Feb 2005, and I have just now realised yet ANOTHER possible way to play it. And I think that THIS is the one! :)
The crucial change is the fact that we need to detune the G-string! This has allowed me to create a note-perfect tab of the song which I am very happy with. One thing that slightly worries me is the similarity to the chords in Cayman Islands in that Eirik has a tendency to fret with his thumb for bass notes - something I cannot check as I don't have an inetnet connection at this moment, so I can't watch the video of the live version. Nonetheless, if this is the case then, Eirik, perhaps you should play my version - it is easier ;)
Have fun playing it - I will release an audio tutorial in the near future, to help with the picking rhythms.

******************EIRIK'S PART (rhythm guitar)*********************
Tuning; E A D Gb B E i.e. tune the G string down one semitone
Notes: This part requires fingerpicking in typical Eirik style with lots of muted notes which you can easily hear on the recording but are difficult to tab. Anyway, if you have trouble, ask a friend or teacher to help. I will record an audio tutorial for this and some other tabs soon :)

So, now you have all the bits you need to play the whole of Erlend's part. Of course the ending is just the chord 5x555x, which appeared earlier.

******************ERLEND'S PART ("lead" guitar)*********************
Tuning Standard capo 7
(Fret numbers are relative to the capo position as usual, but obviously if there are no open notes played then the capo is not needed - i.e. if you wanted to change to a non-capo version.)
Main melody (i.e. start of intro etc.) (I suppose you could play all of the main melody on these notes if you wanted - X X X 2 1 0 - but it is not as elegant)
